Mediagate Movement
Conservatives, libertarians and independents own way more corporate stock than liberals do.
So why is every news organization, tech company and corporate marketing department so aggressively liberal?
These people have promoted and mainstreamed dangerous conspiracy theories and fake news, helped incite mass hysteria, blatantly censored important news stories, and pushed divisive race hoax after divisive race hoax, all just to shamelessly advance their own personal political ideology.
We've now seen the results of it on our TV screens, on our streets and on our investment portfolios. It doesn't bode well for capitalism, democracy, the rule of law or the future of this country.
But there is a way we can fight back!
We intend to form the largest activist shareholder group ever created, which will finally rein in the media, big tech and "woke capitalism". If you own any corporate stock, or even just shares in a mutual or index fund*, you can join in. You won't need to change brokerage accounts or move any money around - you'll just need to follow a simple set of instructions so you can vote along with the group.

How will this activist group fight back? It will demand the creation of powerful bi-partisan ethics boards at each media company, with the ability to immediately fire biased and "fake news" reporters who commit repeat offenses. It will also require "ideological affirmative action" in the newsroom - from now on, a majority of all reporters hired will lean right until newsrooms reflect the political makeup of the country as a whole.
These ethics boards will also be put in place at major tech companies - all social media/tech companies must commit to acting as neutral platforms, and pledge to only remove spam, illegal, and possibly adult or violent content if it violates the platform's standards. No more mildly controversial statements removed for "hate speech" by ideologues under the guise of "safety". They must also end the practice of deplatforming/deranking/demonetizing creators, videos and websites because of political content the company disagrees with.
Our goal is not to re-orient the media to fit our preferred political narrative - we just want fairness and accountability in the media, and no more "social justice" activists masquerading as straight news reporters and social media censors.
We will also demand that every publicly traded company boycott advertising with non-compliant companies. They must also refuse to purchase or sell goods and services to or from these companies, and refuse to enter into any partnerships with them.
We also intend to address the outrageous politicization of entertainment media. For example, there are almost two dozen late night comedy shows now in the U.S., and every single one of them just so happens to have the same left-wing take on politics - and they push that view relentlessly. It's not comedy, it's indoctrination. And it's time for it to end.
Finally, we want corporations and big tech to stay the hell out of politics. No more divisive, virtue signaling tweets, PR releases, rash firings or donations that over half of the country disagrees with. They hurt the bottom-line and are damaging the country irreperably. We, the actual owners of these companies, are calling for an official end to the era of "woke capitalism".
The transition of newsrooms and marketing/PR departments into the mirror image of the faculty lounge at Berkeley happened gradually over several decades. Many people have been warning about this trend for years, but recent events have hopefully been enough to wake people up about the very real danger we are now facing.
Enough is enough.
It's time for rational people to unite.
They work for us. It's time they acted that way.
It's time to take our country back.

* How we intend to proceed with mutual funds and index funds is a little more complicated. Because their shareholders don't have individual voting rights, we plan on doing the following:
1. Contact each fund and explain that, for example, we have 100,000 of your shareholders who are demanding that you support Mediagate reforms, and insist that they pledge to their shareholders that they will vote in line with our reform efforts.
2. Provide an online contact form and sample message, so that our members can quickly express to their fund their displeasure with their refusal to support the depoliticization of the media and corporations.
3. If a fund continues to refuse to engage, we would research alternative funds that have similar features and returns but who have chosen to take the pledge (many will if there is demand, as funds are extremely competitive) and strongly recommend it to our members who are still with the problem fund.
Volunteer
We are looking for people willing to contribute their time and effort to help make Mediagate happen.
We are particularly interested in people with backgrounds in the securities industry, especially relating to corporate governance and shareholder resolutions.
We are also interested in people with internet marketing/social media backgrounds.
Beyond that, the greatest help anyone can be is to spread the word about Mediagate on social media, email or wherever you talk with the most people.
